Staff have tried to address this issue multiple times.
The phone number for the Neighborhood Specialist is (203)946-4906, we apologize for the typo above.
LCI can't enter private property (single family) to search for a rooster under State law.
We must see it, or be able to identify where the noise is being made. LCI contacted the property owner of 265 Lenox Street about the allegation that a rooster may be at this property.
Several staff people have been to this location multiple times.
We have been pro-active but at some point there is a limit to what we can do. Please understand that LCI didn't see or hear a rooster and therefore we can't cite anyone or enforce any regulation

I clocked the roster all weekend It started at 5am. I am pretty sure that it's at 265 Lenox.
The rooster crows anywhere from 20 to 40+ times an hr. You need to sit for at least 1/2 hr but if you give it one full hour you will definitely hear it many many times. It takes breaks but on average they do not last for more than 20 mins which tells me that your reps were not out there for very long. It generally starts at 5 but I have heard it starts as early as 3 am. I have contacted the mayor's office because at the end of the day it's illegal and your reps must simply be swinging by, which is not addressing the issue with any real effort.
If you were woken up between 3 & 5 am every day you would care
