From Pinellas County: Sidewalk cracks represent cosmetic damage only and do not constitute a trip and fall hazard. Needed repairs will be made according to the county's regular sidewalk maintenance schedule.
.
This crack goes a third of the way to the center of the sidewalk. How is that NOT a trip hazard? It's been several years since our sidewalks were maintained. When is our next scheduled maintenance? I strongly believe the number of cracks in our neighborhood's sidewalks warrants at least someone coming out to access the damage.
