Description
A BGE contractor dug a trench across the road to replace a leaking gas line about 2 months ago. They did put down some cold patch, but that has been degrading and causing several places with 2-3 inch deep depressions. Please ensure BGE is more prompt with fixing the roads they have to tear up for maintenance. It will become a big issue when the snow plows hit it if not fixed before snow season.

Per Ms. English, "Utility companies are allowed to test pit and work in our roadway, they must restore to an R-4 detail with hot mix asphalt. If it fails they need to repave that area. Cold patch is a temporary mix that is for temp patches until they can get on site for a permanent repair."
Ms. English reports that BG&E plans to make the repair next week.
